Every day is built block by block
Kubche is a small, warm kindergarten for children aged 1 to 6. Small groups, home-cooked meals and plenty of time to play, make and explore.
Ages 1–6
- 1 : 6educators to children in our youngest group
- 3colour-coded groups by age

Three groups, three colours
Children move up through the colours as they grow. Each group has its own room, its own routine and its own pace.
- 1–2 years
Ladybirds
First steps, first songs, first friends.
A slow and cuddly start away from home. The day follows each child’s own rhythm for eating and sleeping, with lots of floor play and familiar faces.
- 3–4 years
Bees
Busy hands, big questions.
Learning through play: painting, clay, building and pretend games. Children practise doing things themselves, from getting dressed to tidying up.
- 5–6 years
Dolphins
Ready for school, ready for anything.
A calm, curious year before school. Children meet letters in both alphabets, numbers and simple experiments, and practise listening, taking turns and finishing what they start.

What makes Kubche, Kubche
Small groups
Never more than eight children with two carers, so every child is known by name, mood and favourite song.
Home-cooked meals
Breakfast, lunch and snack are made in our own kitchen, with a menu planned around allergies.
A daily note
Parents get a short note every afternoon: what your child ate, played and laughed about.
Outdoors every day
We go into the garden in every season, with a covered corner for rainy days.

Play is how children learn
We do not rush letters and numbers. Children build, paint, sing, pour, count and climb, and the learning arrives on the way. Our oldest group gets a gentle, confident start to school.
Come and see the blocks
Visit us, meet the educators and let your child try a day. There is no pressure and no obligation.
